As disabled folks, many of us are constantly pushing towards the difficult harmony of loving our own disabilities and the lives that come with them. How can the precise use of language and art produce new knowledge as how to best embrace, celebrate, and understand our often painful lived experiences? Or, how to do we carve out space for what is often considered to be "brokenness?"
The Autism Consortium of Texas invites you to attend our December webinar meeting on Tuesday, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. Dr. Leann Smith DaWalt, senior scientist at the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Director for the Waisman Center’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, will be presenting “Fragile X Syndrome Across the Life Course.” This will be held virtually on Zoom and is open to all.
