Workshop for siblings aged 8-12. Sibshops provide siblings of people with a disability a place to meet other people who "get it". Learn more about disabilities, and most importantly have fun! This is an action-packed 3-hour workshop that offers exciting opportunities to have fun and connect with other younger siblings in the Austin area. This workshop is put on by the Texas Sibling Network.

How do you start making plans for your family member that has a disability? It's a daunting task but an important to start as soon as possible. What types of information should you talk about? What are the resources available? What supports are available? In this workshop, we discuss how to frame the issue and how to start this conversation and what types of supports and resources are available for you to move forward! This workshop is open to any family members (adult siblings, parents, grandparents,etc) and adult self-advocates.
