Advancing Disability Policy Through Research, Education, and Community Partnership

At the Texas Center for Disability Studies (TCDS), we believe policy is a powerful tool for creating a more inclusive and just society. Our policy work is grounded in lived experience, driven by research, and shaped by the voices of disabled people and their communities. TCDS provides education and leadership on the legislative process, at both national and state levels. TCDS engages in strategic partnerships, legislative analysis, and public education to address pressing disability issues in Texas and beyond. Explore our TCDS Policy Impact Briefs and ACT LEND Briefs to learn how we turn knowledge into action and help shape policy that truly reflects the needs and rights of people with disabilities.
