TCDS engages in research, teaching, training, and information dissemination on disability-related topics, bringing together a diverse group of experts to advance knowledge and practice in this field.
Affiliated faculty, including teaching, research, and clinical professionals, contribute to this mission by conducting research, offering courses, and pursuing professional or scholarly activities related to individuals with disabilities. In return, affiliated faculty gain access to TCDS’s extensive local, state, and national networks, opportunities for collaboration, and support for securing funding. Their projects may also be featured in the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD) database, enhancing their visibility and impact.
Affiliated faculty are expected to report project data for annual reporting, include TCDS in relevant collaborations, and help share its initiatives and research. Through these partnerships, TCDS advances its goal of creating innovative solutions and inclusive opportunities that empower people with disabilities and their families.
