Dr. Becker holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been the principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous externally funded grants, including studies related to disability and cancer survivorship. She also has conducted program evaluation for a variety of health programs. She currently works at the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing.
