This annual event brings together Person Centered Thinking Trainers and Candidates from locations throughout the Southwest to learn from each other about the amazing work that is going on to support people to get better lives. You don't have to be a certified trainer or trainer candidate. If you are a certified trainer with the Learning Community on Person Centered Practices you have to attend a Gathering annually to maintain your certification.

Texas Center for Disabilities Studies at University of Texas and the Texas Technology Access Project will showcase and let you try out assistive technology from the Texas Technology Access Program that enhances communication and mobility.

Participate Remotely
All MCH Training Programs and UCEDDs are invited and encouraged to participate remotely by hosting a live stream of this conference for trainees, faculty, staff, families, and others at your center or program. Eligible broadcast sites include MCH training programs, UCEDDs, and Title V programs. This is an excellent opportunity for your trainees and staff to gain in-depth coverage of a range of transition issues at a very low cost of $150 per site.

A series of four speakers will present on different topics related to disability. Light refreshments will be available after the event and this series is free to all.

Training will be presented by Institute Mentor Trainers certified by The Learning Community on Person Centered Practices. CEUs are available for Licensed Professional Counselors and Social Workers.
