The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Long-Term Care Regulatory, is drafting amendments, repealing and developing new rules for the Texas Administrative Code, Title 40, Part 1, Chapter 92. The purpose of the rule amendments is to implement Senate Bill 924 and establish the redaction fee for the cost of the redacted survey packet that assisted living facilities will be required to pay upon requesting an informal dispute resolution.
HHSC is moving ahead in the rulemaking process and requests feedback on the draft as well as any other feedback that applies to this rule development project.Please note this is only a draft of the rule, and is subject to change.
Stakeholders who register at the meeting will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide oral and written comments regarding the draft rules.
Please submit written comments in a separate document via email to tahoe.fintel@hhsc.state.tx.us. Comments on this draft are due by Dec. 22, 2017.
