TTAP is headlining the FREE Abilities Expo in Dallas!
HHS is meeting with stakeholders across Texas as they develop a plan to enhance services for Texans with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. They want to hear about your experiences and challenges with HHS to help us find opportunities to improve.
HHS staff want to know:
• What is working well.
• What is not working.
• Your ideas to improve how we deliver services.

Sibshops are for siblings of people with disabilities. At Sibshops brothers and sisters get to met other siblings, talk with people who "get it", learn more about disabilities, and most importantly have fun!
This is an action packed 3-hour workshop that offers exciting opportunities to have fun and connect with other siblings in the Austin area. This workshop is put on by the Texas Sibling Network.
William "Billy" Edwards is a public defender in Los Angeles county, and is also a member of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (NOFAS) Board of Directors. He will be giving a training at Disability Rights Texas on 12/5 from 1:00-2:30pm. Although the training is targeting lawyers, it could also be appropriate for those who know and/or work with a person with an FASD in any system of care.
