Rosalba Calleros

Rosalba Calleros is the Parent Support Team Lead with Texas Parent to Parent. She received her Master's degree in Bilingual Education in May 2009 from the University of Texas at El Paso. Her oldest child was born with cerebral palsy in 1999. This experience has taught her that parent to parent support is extremely important for families of children with disabilities and has inspired her to support other families since 2007. Besides the Community Advisory Committee with the Texas Center for Disabilities, Rosalba also serves at the STAR Kids Managed Care Advisory Committee, created by Senate 7 of the 83th Texas Legislature and at the Hill Country MHDD Citizen's Advisory Committee. Rosalba's main mission is to help parents to feel empowered by the learning experience of having children with disabilities and reach their highest potential with meaningful lives.
