Kiki Avilez (ella/she/her), a first-generation Latinx graduate, recently earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. Her clinical work involves working with BIPOC youth, driven by her passionate interest in developmental trauma and the journey to healing. With unwavering dedication, Kiki actively advocates for marginalized communities, while intertwining her academic accomplishments with extensive community engagement to cultivate safe and inclusive environments. Her vision centers on fostering compassion and personal growth while attending to the distinctive needs of the people she gets to serve. Additionally, Kiki is grateful to have been accepted to the ACT LEND 2023-2024 cohort, where she seeks to enhance her proficiency in providing neurodivergent-affirming care.
