Discipline: School Psychology
Janie is a second-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at Baylor University. She graduated from UT Austin with her master's in educational psychology and has worked as a school psychologist for the past two years. Her clinical and research interests include examining psychological adjustment of children and families of youth with chronic health conditions, promoting collaboration between medical and school settings to enhance diagnosis and treatment for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, and improving access to equitable care for pediatric patients from underserved and marginalized backgrounds.
