The Texas Center for Disability Studies: University of Texas at Austin is developing a research advisory committee of community members. We invite participation from members of the Texan community, specifically seeking autistic adults, adults with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities), and family members of individuals with autism or IDD. Recognizing the historical underrepresentation of certain communities in autism and IDD research, we strongly encourage those who have traditionally been excluded or underrepresented in research to apply. Your unique perspectives and experiences are invaluable to our study.

We are especially looking for family members of autistic individuals and individuals with IDD to apply to join W.I.T.H. (Weaving Inclusion Together in research Hub), a community research advisory committee. It is crucial to include both autistic adults and adults with IDD as well as family members of people with IDD or autism. Your valuable insights can significantly contribute to guiding research aimed at autistic children or children with IDD as well as adults.

Receive $100 for each four quarterly virtual meetings. Your unique perspective can shape research studies and help in the creation of materials.
