Dr. Mobley’s talk examines how race, gender, disability, and visual culture interact to produce notions of sovereign bodies in the United States.

For those who haven’t previously attended the HHRS, the presentations are about 30 minutes, followed by at least thirty more minutes for Q & A and group discussion.
