The ADA at 30 - Disability Rights and the Digital Future: A conversation with Sharron Rush and Lainey Feingold

For close to 25 years the US Justice Department, the courts, and negotiated settlement agreements have broadly applied the Americans with Disabilities Act to websites and more recently to mobile applications and other technologies. As digital resources become more critical to participation in the modern world of remote working, learning, civic engagement and socializing, what does the future hold for digital inclusion?

Sharron Rush, Executive Director of the Austin-based digital accessibility advocacy, consulting, and training organization Knowbility, will discuss the legal aspects of digital accessibility with disability rights lawyer, author, and public speaker Lainey Feingold. The two are friends and colleagues and the discussion promises to be enlightening, engaging, and informative.
