Physical Therapy

Summer Knowles, PT, DPT, MS is a pediatric physical therapy resident at Baylor University. She plans to sit for the PCS exam and pursue Board Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy at the conclusion of residency. She graduated from Baylor University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2025. Prior to earning her DPT, she received her Master of Science in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2023 as well as her Bachelor of Health Science Studies in 2020 from Baylor University.  

Her clinical interests include pediatric neurorehabilitation, developmental disabilities, neurodiverse populations, and family-centered care. With a background in applied behavior analysis, she is particularly interested in the relationship between behavior, sensory processing, participation, and motor development and how these factors can be incorporated into individualized therapy. 

Summer is passionate about helping children build confidence through movement, play, and exploration while supporting families throughout their child’s developmental journey. She strives to provide compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care that empowers each child to reach their fullest functional potential.
