Leo Pratt is a Master’s of Science in Social Work student at the University of Texas at Austin, where they also earned their bachelor's degree in psychology. With experience in legislative and psychological research, nonprofit program development, and direct care, Leo brings a well-rounded perspective to their training.
Leo's professional interests focus on developing policy and interventions for neurodivergent young adults transitioning to independence. They are also dedicated to promoting medical autonomy for gender-diverse, neurodivergent individuals, while fostering environments that respect self-determination. Leo's research interests include improving diagnostic accuracy and experiences for LGBTQ+ populations and developing supports that honor the uniqueness of individuals.
Leo is honored to be the recipient of two fellowships and is excited to join the 2025-2026 cohort. They look forward to becoming a more effective practitioner and a stronger advocate for their community.
