Elizabeth Slade graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Art History. After spending five years in the contemporary arts scene in Austin, Elizabeth transitioned to a career in special education. With a focus on behavior management, Elizabeth has dedicated her career to supporting high school students on the autism spectrum, those who have experienced trauma, and students whose mental health challenges impact their access to education. She is passionate about working closely with students and their families to foster inclusive and supportive educational environments.
Elizabeth is a native Texan who has called Austin home since 2005. Her life revolves around her husband and lively daughter. Together, with family and friends, they love exploring their interests in food, new cultures, visual arts, and ballet. Outside of work, Elizabeth is a Liverpool FC fan and finds joy in listening to audiobooks and tackling jigsaw puzzles, which provide a perfect balance to her busy life.
