This webinar will provide a review of factors that influence parental experiences when receiving difficult news and how providers can improve parent satisfaction throughout this process. In addition, an overview of Person-Centered Thinking will be presented.

ECI service providers including EISs, Social Workers and LPCs will be able to obtain CEUs from these events. This nursing continuing professional development activity awards 1.0 contact hour. Texas Children’s Hospital is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
