This webinar will expose attendees to a variety of devices which may assist them in the workplace or in community activities. The session will not cover hearing aid technology, but rather, will touch on other types of equipment for people who are hard of hearing.

CEUs:

Participants may earn 0.15 DHHS General Studies CEUs by taking a pre-test, attending the entire session, and taking a post-test. Links to the pre- and post- tests will be included in registration confirmation and follow up emails.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:

Rose Aird Minette has a severe hearing loss and has worked for the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services since 1995.



Olivia Rains is an Assistive Technology and Marketing Specialist at University of Texas, Austin. Olivia brings to Texas Technology Access Program marketing and assistive technology demonstrations, referrals and resource outreach to Texans. She has life experience of having hearing loss, as well as experience with technology assessment the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services state program for 7 years in Austin. Olivia has served a 30-county area of people with all levels of hearing loss and of all ages, providing technology assistance and resources.
