44th Annual State Conference/Convention
Theme: “A Leading Light Through the Darkness”
Join the American Council of the Blind of Texas (ACBT) for the 44th annual Conference/Convention! The 2022 Conference/Convention is being held at the Austin Southpark Hotel located at 4140 Governor’s Row in Austin Texas on August 25-28.
The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms as well as in common areas, free self-parking and a well-lit area for guide dogs. There is a Coffee Shop, a Lobby Bar and the Onion Creek Restaurant. A pool and fitness center are also available to attendees.
The pre-Conference/Convention Board meeting will be held on Thursday and sessions will be on Friday and Saturday including updates from the Talking Book Program, Braille Revival League of Texas, Guide Dog Users of Texas, advocacy, technology, Adjusting to Blindness, Leadership seminar and much more.
